How many people have limited opportunities to exercise and get out into nature because of frailty or injury?
They may have some mobility, enough to navigate around the house and move to and from the car, thus they rationalise in their own mind that they do not need a walking stick, but when it comes to a proper walk, a stretch, getting the heart pumping, it is simply not possible. Yet movement and being in nature has so many profound advantages for mental and physical health, for social interaction and for sleep.
A good stick, that is comfortable and strong offers a person with limited movement still has the opportunity to enjoy the freedom of of being in nature.
